Force a Failed Card Creation

To simulate a failed debit card (e.g. "Card is ineligible for disbursements"), set the expiration date to:

This will trigger a 400 error.

🏦 Adding Bank Accounts (US)

When testing bank account flows, you may use any Plaid-provided test routing and account numbers.

🌍 Adding IBAN Accounts (EU)

To test SEPA payouts in the sandbox, generate a random IBAN using:

Rapid supports test accounts for UK Faster Payments:

❌ Force Failed RTP Withdrawal

To simulate a failure during instant withdrawal (RTP), set:

firstName = "suspended"

❌ Force US Verification Rejection

During verification, use the following:

• Last 4 SSN: 9999
• ZIP Code: 99999

This will cause verification to be rejected.

⏳ Force US Verification Pending Status

To trigger a pending status:

• Last 4 SSN: 1111
• ZIP Code: 11111
