Statuses
The below table outlines the various statuses a payment might go through during processing. Merchants can use this to track and understand payment progression in real time.
| Status | Description |
|---|---|
| Initiated | The customer has confirmed the payment, and Approvely has created a payment record. The system is now waiting for the customer to complete the payment through their banking app. |
| Deposited | The customer has completed the payment on their banking app, and funds are waiting to be settled. |
| Settled | The funds have settled to the Merchant settlement location. |
| Expired | The customer confirmed the payment but failed to complete it in their banking app on time. As a result, the original payment record is no longer valid. |
| Failed | An issue occurred while attempting to settle funds to the Merchant's designated settlement location. |
