🟢 Transaction Statuses

StatusDescription
AUTHORIZEDThe transaction has been approved but not yet finalized.
SETTLEDThe transaction is complete, with funds moved from the cardholder's to the merchant's account.
REFUNDEDThe transaction amount has been returned to the cardholder.
FAILEDThe transaction was not successful.
CHARGEBACKThe cardholder disputes the transaction, and the amount is being investigated.
CHARGEBACK_LOSTThe dispute was resolved in favor of the cardholder, and the merchant loses the funds.
CHARGEBACK_WONThe dispute was resolved in favor of the merchant, and the funds are retained.
VOIDEDThe transaction was canceled before it was completed.
EXPIRED(Pix Pay-ins Only) The payment window has expired. Customers have 5 minutes to complete their Pix payment.

6ErrorUnknown bank error. Try again or contact issuer.
7Pick Up Card (Fraud)Fraud alert. Customer should contact issuer.
10Partial ApprovalCard partially approved. Collect the balance another way.
12Invalid TransactionIssues like incorrect card info, expired card, or AVS mismatch.
13Card Amount InvalidAmount is invalid or malformed.
14Card Number InvalidCard number is incorrect or does not exist.
15No Such IssuerInvalid first digit in card number.
19Re-EnterUnknown failure. Try re-entering card data.
25POS Code InvalidCardholder data may be invalid.
28No ReplyIssuer not responding. Retry later.
41Pick Up Card (Lost)Card reported lost. Do not retry.
43Pick Up Card (Stolen)Card reported stolen. Do not retry.
46Account Closed/ValidationAccount closed or needs validation. Customer must contact bank.
51Insufficient FundsNot enough balance or credit available.
54Card ExpiredExpired card. Customer must use a valid one.
57Service Not AllowedIssuer disallows this type of transaction.
59Suspected FraudIssuer suspects fraud. Declined.
61Withdrawal Limit ExceededExceeded available credit. Use another card.
62Restricted SIC CodeInvalid merchant/card combo or online restriction.
63RestrictedCVV mismatch or restricted usage.
65Activity Limit ExceededMaxed-out credit or too many transactions.
78No AccountAccount problem on issuer's side. Customer must contact bank.
91Issuer UnavailableBank is not responding. Try again.
93Legal ViolationAccount frozen for legal reasons.
96System MalfunctionBank system error. Try again later.
97CVV MismatchCVV doesn't match.
997User Failed 3DS3D Secure challenge failed.
998Rejected by IssuerIssuer rejected due to fraud risk or card validation failure.
999Rejected by Fraud MonitorDeclined due to high fraud or chargeback risk.
